Don't forget the tissues

I always carry tissues with me nowadays.  It never fails that I am feeling great when the littlest thing will remind me that he's not here.

I was reminded of you today when:

I woke up and your spot in the bed was empty

I heard our wedding song on the radio

we went to the sporting goods store and I had to figure out the sports stuff for our daughter

the kids were fighting and I couldn't ask you to help out

I did laundry and it seemed so little

         I drove your truck

our daughter called using your old cell phone number

I didn't cook dinner because you are my big eater

I was watching TV and didn't have you to laugh with

I went to the grocery store and didn't need to buy your usual stuff

I wanted to tell you something but I couldn't just call

I went to your favorite lunch spot- Saigon- yummy

I filled out the customs form for your box to ship

I drove by your squadron on the way to the commissary
       I said my prayers

                                         and in my dreams!

Miss you babe!!

Awww! this is such a sweet post! Sad, but also happy - shows how much you LOVE him, and how much he means to you every minute of every day.

:)
Hang in there.

The laundry being so little really hit me this weekend. As I put away the few remnants of his laundry that he wore our last night together - it broke me down.

Many hugs and much love to you, wherever you are! Hang in there!

I have a break down every time I am in Costco - I don't know why. Also, sometimes when I am walking the dog the silence creeps in... I love that you are posting this - it makes me remember I am not alone in my burden.

Hugs <3

Sending you a hug! I've been feeling flooded by reminders a lot lately, I just ran out of tissues today! Hope these reminders also remind you of how good it will feel when he’s home again!
